The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Yevhen Moisiuk and Valerii Churkin as Deputy Ministers of Defense.
Taras Melnychuk, the Government’s Permanent Representative to the Verkhovna Rada, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has appointed Oleksandr Yarema as State Secretary at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (again), Volodymyr Vasylenko as Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, Yevhen Moisiuk as Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Valerii Churkin as Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, and Volodymyr Buchko as First Deputy Head of the State Forest Resources Agency of Ukraine,” he wrote.
Melnychuk also added that the government had approved the appointment of Denys Denyshchenko as Deputy Head of the Volyn Regional State Administration.
Volodymyr Buchko was relieved from his position as First Deputy Head of the State Service of Geology and Mineral Resources of Ukraine.
In October-November 2024, the Cabinet of Ministers made the decision to dismiss Deputy Ministers of Defense Stanislav Haider, Oleksandr Serhii, and Yurii Dzhyhyr.
