“There were new assaults in the areas of the Kursk operation: the Russian army and North Korean soldiers were brought in again. A significant number of occupants were destroyed. We are talking about hundreds of Russian and North Korean soldiers,” he said.
The President emphasized the importance of fighting on Russian territory, as it eases the pressure against our cities.
According to him, the 60,000 Russian troops fighting in the Kursk region did not join the Russian forces in Pokrovsk and other areas in Donetsk region.
Earlier, South Korean intelligence reported that North Korean troops have not participated in combat operations in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation since mid-January.
One of the reasons for the absence of North Korean troops on the battlefield in the Kursk region was heavy losses.
It is noted that North Korea has sent about 11,000 troops to support Russia in its war against Ukraine. Of these, 300 have already been killed, and about 2,700 more have been wounded.
