In the morning, Russian troops attacked the central district of Kherson. Homes and warehouses came under attack.
This was reported in Telegram by the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.
“Due to the hit of an enemy shell, a fire broke out in a private house. Rescuers managed to pull a mother and a child out of the fire. Their lives are currently not in danger,” the statement said.
The victims were taken to the hospital. The 33-year-old woman was diagnosed with mine-blast and craniocerebral injuries, as well as contusion. Doctors provided her with the necessary assistance. She will undergo further treatment on an outpatient basis.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, one person was killed and five were wounded in Kherson region over the past day due to Russian shelling.
