NATO Military Committee Chairman impressed with heroism of Ukrainian soldiers

Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone believes that the Ukrainian soldiers are an example of true heroism.

The admiral said this in a commentary to an Ukrinform correspondent in Brussels ahead of the meeting of NATO Defense Ministers scheduled for February 13.

He said that Ukrainian soldiers “are really showing the entire world what the word heroism means”.

Recalling his visit to Ukraine last week, the admiral said that this was exactly what he told the wounded soldiers in the military hospitals he visited.

“I was really impressed with the spirit and strong will to defend their homeland, and I’m not only impressed, I tried to give an idea that NATO stands strong with Ukraine and that NATO stays committed, all the nations,” the admiral stressed.

As Ukrinform reported, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Oleksandr Syrskyi discussed the reform of the troop command and control system in the combat zone during a meeting with the NATO Military Committee Chairman, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, as part of his first visit to Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and NATO Military Committee Chairman, Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone visited a defense industry enterprise to review the capacities and characteristics of Ukrainian long-range weapons.
