Russian missile strike damages offices of FreeDom, Dim TV channels in Kyiv

In Kyiv, as a result of a Russian missile strike on the morning of February 12, the offices of the Ukrainian foreign broadcasting channels FreeDom and Dim were damaged.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Detector Media with reference to the press service of the Multimedia Platform of Foreign Broadcasting.

In addition, the offices of the international editorial office of foreign broadcasting – UATV English, The Gaze, UATV Español, UATVArabic and the digital editorial office – were damaged.

The employees were not injured, the channel is broadcasting from a backup studio, informed Maria Pinchuk, head of the press service of the Multimedia Broadcasting Platform.

The FreeDom studio was heavily damaged. The channel broadcasts from a backup studio. The shock wave smashed dozens of windows in the office, damaged production facilities and the company’s vehicles.

As reported by Ukrinform, on February 12, a man born in 1985 died in Kyiv as a result of a missile attack by Russian invaders.
