The Russian invaders have reduced Chasiv Yar and Toretsk in Donetsk region, as well as Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, to ruins. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continue to hold the line.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Luhansk Operational-Tactical Group shared this update on Facebook, accompanied by a video.

The 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, the 81st Separate Airmobile Slobozhanska Brigade of the Air Assault Forces, and the 100th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Ground Forces have been holding the defense of Bilohorivka for over 1,000 days, protecting Chasiv Yar for more than 300 days, and repelling enemy attacks on Toretsk for 180 days.

The Russian forces have burned industrial zones, destroyed residential buildings, and leveled entire neighborhoods to their foundations.

Commanders noted that units of the Luhansk Operational-Tactical Group continue to defend some of the toughest frontline positions in Bilohorivka, Chasiv Yar, and Toretsk, “digging into the chalk, pipes, and mines” to hold their ground.
