Dear Ukrainians!

A brief word about this day.

The military is our defense, our position. We have just heard a report from the Chief of the Army. We are holding the key areas. And this is important.

There is a lot of coordination with leaders, not only in Europe. Today I spoke with Polish President Andrzej Duda, and we are starting from the fact that our independence – of Ukraine and Poland – is very closely related. The stronger the Ukrainian sovereignty, the safer Poland is. The twentieth century proved this. Now we must be together, and I am grateful to Poland for its support.

I spoke with the Prime Minister of Croatia. I thanked Andrej for defense support and security cooperation. We are doing a lot together with Croatia, and we exchanged views on the next steps and events.

Today I spoke with the President of the Czech Republic, and we appreciate the principled position of the Czech Republic. We discussed the situation in Europe and everything that is being done to bring peace closer. Thank you!

Today, I also spoke with the Prime Minister of Sweden, a country from the region that, unfortunately, is now facing a constant hybrid threat and many extremely unpleasant incidents in the Baltic Sea. This and everything else shows that we need more unity, we need more coordination, more interaction.

Today, I had a very substantive conversation with the Prime Minister of Luxembourg about various ideas and proposals that exist in Europe for the sake of peace, for the sake of security guarantees. And the main conclusion is that Europe should and can do much more to ensure that peace is actually achieved. And it is possible. We have clear proposals with our partners in Europe, and on this basis we can ensure the implementation of the European strategy, and it is important that this is done together with America.

Slovenia – Prime Minister, a very good conversation, and it is important that every nation in the world and on our continent is heard. I thanked Slovenia for helping us to defend ourselves and for their support in common European affairs.

Ireland – today I had a conversation with the Prime Minister about our cooperation in Europe and about the key positions in diplomacy that we have now. A very warm attitude towards our people, towards our defense. We appreciate it.

And, of course, we continue to work with our partners in key global regions, particularly in Africa. Côte d’Ivoire – I spoke with the President today, and I am grateful for his support of our sovereignty, our territorial integrity, and his position that in international affairs we need real predictability, we need real respect for the interests of every nation. Without respect, there will be no peace, not with the level of weaponry that exists today. That is why we need to work at all levels in the world – with all partners, in all regions – to ensure that the international order really exists and truly corresponds to the meaning of the word “order”. I thank you all for your support!

And one more thing.

Today, Ukrainian and US teams are working on a draft agreement between our governments. And this is an agreement that can add value to our relationship, and the main thing is to work out the details so that it can work. I hope for a result – a fair result.

Glory to Ukraine!
