The Russian forces launched multiple airstrikes on Kostiantynivka early on February 22. Two fatalities and four injuries were reported.
This was posted on Telegram by Head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Vadym Filashkin, as per Ukrinform.
“At least two people were killed and 4four others injured as a result of today’s strikes on Kostiantynivka,” Filashkin wrote.
The regional chief noted that the attack took place in the morning. Preliminary estimates suggest that 10 apartment buildings, 21 private houses, three industrial facilities, a store, 16 garages, two power lines, two gas pipelines, and nine cars were damaged.
Filashkin also suggested that there may still be people trapped under the rubble of the buildings, and search operations are ongoing.
As previously reported, on February 21, a Russian airstrike on Kramatorsk in Donetsk region left four people injured, including a child.
