Guided aerial bomb strike damages six houses in Zolochiv

Almost 50 houses were damaged as a result of Russian air strikes on Zolochiv in Kharkiv region.

This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“According to the investigation, on February 25, at about 11:30 a.m., the Russian armed forces launched air strikes on the village of Zolochiv, Bohodukhiv district. Two guided aerial bombs hit the village. About 50 private and apartment buildings, outbuildings, cars, and a power plant were damaged,” the statement said.

A pre-trial investigation into the fact of committing a war crime (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been initiated.

As reported, on the afternoon of February 25, Russian troops struck the village of Zolochiv in Kharkiv region with two guided aerial bombs, injuring two women aged 48 and 78. Three more bombs hit other settlements in the Zolochiv community.

On February 22, a Russian air strike on Zolochiv damaged 30 residential buildings, electricity and gas networks, and injured a 60-year-old woman.
