
At night, on February 28, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed a storage facility containing thermobaric ammunition belonging to Russian occupiers near Selydove in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region. They also struck the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar territory.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the operation on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“Overnight, on February 28, Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed a storage facility containing thermobaric ammunition belonging to Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region, near Selydove,” the post reads.
Additionally, the Ukrainian forces targeted three other key Russian military sites, including the Ilsky oil refinery, which plays a role in supplying the Russian army. The results of the strikes are currently being assessed.
