The hacker group BO Team has destroyed the data and servers of a Moscow-based Internet provider that served the Russian oil industry.
The hackers reported this on their Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.
As noted, as a result of a successful attack on the Moscow provider CWN (OJSC Pronet), its server infrastructure and data were destroyed. This provider served, in particular, the oil companies of the aggressor country: the oil equipment manufacturer Ocher Machine-Building Plant JSC, as well as the scientific and technical center in the oil and gas industry VNIIONG JSC.
In addition, on February 16, a hacker group attacked Megaseti, a provider serving the city of Vladimir. As a result of the attack, the provider’s operations have been suspended and it may take up to two weeks to restore services.
“As a result of these attacks, the provider’s infrastructure was destroyed and the provision of communication services was suspended. Cyber operations against Russia continue! Glory to Ukraine!” the hackers said.
As the agency reported earlier, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine on the birthday of the Chief of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov launched a cyberattack on the Russian RegionTransService LLC and disabled all servers.
