According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, summarizing the situation as of 8:00 on Saturday, March 1.
Yesterday, the Russian forces launched one missile strike, conducted 100 airstrikes, including dropping 152 guided bombs on the Ukrainian positions and settlements.
Additionally, the enemy carried out over 5,600 shelling attacks, including 121 barrages from multiple launch rocket systems and deployed 2,449 kamikaze drones.
The Russian forces carried out airstrikes in the areas of Yunakivka, Basivka in Sumy region, Kalynove, Chornohlazivka, Orishanka, Dovzhyk, Bezruky in Kharkiv region, Kramatorsk, Bilokuzmynivka, Krasnotorka, Kostiantynivka, Zvirove, Leontovychi, Zelenyi Hai, Andriivka-Klevtsove in Donetsk region, Sichneve in Dnipropetrovsk region, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Piatykhatky in Zaporizhzhia region, Antonivka, Poniativka in Kherson region.
Yesterday, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 11 clusters of enemy personnel and military equipment destroying three artillery systems and an ammunition depot.
On February 28, in the Kharkiv sector, one enemy attack occurred near Vovchansk.
In the Kupiansk sector, the Russians carried out two attacks. The Ukrainian defense forces repelled the assaults near Zahryzove and Lozova.
In the Lyman sector, the Russian forces attempted to advance twice near Ivanivka and Yampolivka.
The enemy also attempted twice to dislodge the Ukrainian defenders from their positions in the areas of Bilohorivka and Verkhniokamianske in the Siversk sector.
In the Kramatorsk sector, two assaults occurred near Orikhovo-Vasylivka.
In the Toretsk sector, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 16 Russian attacks near Krymske, Dachne, Toretsk, and Leonidivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the fighting is most intense, with 26 Russian assaults stopped near Baranivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Nadiivka, and Andriivka.
In the Novopavlivka sector, the Ukrainian forces repelled eight Russian attacks near Kostiantynopil and Skudne.
In the Huliaipole sector, the Russians attempted to push the Ukrainian forces three times from Pryvilne and Rivnopil with air and bombing support.
In the Orikhiv sector, three attacks occurred near Piatykhatky and Kamianske.
In the Prydniprovske sector, the Russian forces did not conduct active offensive actions.
In the Kursk sector, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 18 Russian attacks. Russians conducted 527 artillery strikes, including 18 rocket barrages, and 25 airstrikes dropping 31 guided bombs (KABs).
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of Russian offensive troop formations were spotted.
The Russian forces continue to use artillery and aviation from their own territory to attack border areas in Chernihiv and Sumy regions.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russia’s total combat losses from February 24, 2022, to March 1, 2025, are estimated at 875,610 personnel, with 1,050 eliminated over the past day alone.
