Russian forces attack Sumy region with drones, damaging homes, educational institution

In the Romny district of the Sumy region, a Russian drone attack has damaged 14 private homes.

Valentyna Nazarenko, head of the Romny District Military Administration, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

“As of 11:00, police have recorded damage to 14 private households and three municipal buildings, including an educational institution,” the post said.

According to Nazarenko, a mobile administrative service center has received 11 damage reports.

Emergency response efforts involve rescue teams, municipal workers from the Romny City Council, and assistance from the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.

On the evening of February 28, the Russian army attacked the Sad community in the Sumy region with drones and missiles, damaging five private houses, a dormitory, and an enterprise office.
