In the Kupiansk sector of the front, Russian occupiers continue their attempts to establish a new foothold on the right bank of the Oskil River near Krasne Pershe.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by the Khortytsia Operational Strategic Group of Troops.
“Russians have attempted to expand their foothold near Kalynove by improving their tactical position. The occupiers are also trying to deploy forces to the western bank of the Oskil River while the weather still allows them to do so,” the statement reads.
Enemy units also attempted to advance on Petropavlivka but were unsuccessful, Khortytsia reported.
Additionally, in the Lyman sector, the enemy launched attacks on Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka, Nove, and Zelena Dolyna, while also attempting to replenish their previous losses.
In the Kramatorsk and Toretsk sectors, Russian forces tried to attack Predtechyne, Dyliivka, Bila Hora, and Dachne, while continuing their unsuccessful attempts to capture the towns of Toretsk and Chasiv Yar. Attempts by enemy units to infiltrate toward Stupochky were detected and repelled in time.
In the Pokrovsk sector, the enemy launched offensive actions toward Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Kotliarivka, Oleksiivka, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, and Mykolaivka. Despite all efforts, Russian forces did not succeed. However, the enemy managed to damage part of Ukraine’s defensive fortifications in Pishchane. Measures are being taken to prevent further deterioration of the tactical situation.
In the Novopavlivka sector, Russian forces attempted but failed to advance toward Kostiantynopil and Burlatske.
As previously reported, on the Kupiansk front, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled enemy assaults near the settlements of Holubivka and Zahryzove.
