
Yesterday, two residents of Donetsk region were killed and 23 others were injured as a result of shelling by Russian troops.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Military District Administration.
“On March 8, Russians killed 2 residents of Donetsk region: in Pokrovsk and Siversk. Another 23 people in the region were injured over the day,” Filashkin wrote.
According to him, since the beginning of the Russian invasion, 3,027 people have been killed and 6,893 wounded in the region.
The total number of Russian casualties in Donetsk region is given without taking into account Mariupol and Volnovakha.
As Ukrinform reported, on the evening of March 8, Russian troops shelled Druzhkivka, Donetsk region, wounding 7 civilians and damaging 7 high-rise buildings.
