As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced on the official website of the Italian government.
“Italy fully supports the efforts of the United States, under the leadership of President Trump, to achieve a just peace that ensures the long-term security of Ukraine,” the statement reads.
The Italian government added that the next move is now up to Russia.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, French President Emmanuel Macron also welcomed progress in the U.S.-Ukraine negotiations, stating that “the ball is now in Russia’s court.”
A joint statement following the talks in Jeddah confirmed that the U.S. will lift the pause on intelligence sharing with Ukraine and resume military aid deliveries.
