
The Ukrainian Defense Forces have shot down 98 Russian drones, and another 20 enemy UAVs have been lost.
According to Ukrinform, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in Telegram.
Starting at 19:00 on Tuesday, March 11, Russian troops fired three Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the temporarily occupied Crimea at Odesa and Kryvyi Rih, and attacked Ukraine with 133 Shahed-type attack drones and various types of imitator drones from the directions of: Orel, Shatalovo, Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Chauda (Crimea).
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:30 on Wednesday, March 12, 98 Shahed and other types of attack UAVs were confirmed downed in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, Rivne, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and Kherson regions.
20 enemy imitator drones were lost in the area (without any negative consequences).
Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy and Kyiv regions were affected by the Russian attack.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, four Syrian citizens were killed in Odesa as a result of a Russian ballistic missile strike on port infrastructure on the evening of March 11.
In Kryvyi Rih, a 47-year-old woman was killed in a Russian missile attack on the morning of March 12.
