Casualties as Russia hits Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv region

On the night of March 15, a series of Russian drone attacks, airstrikes, and rocket salvos targeted Kharkiv region, leaving at least four civilians affected.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

According to the official, at about 03:20 in town of Bohodukhiv, an enemy drone of the Geran-2 type hit a non-residential building, and in the period from 00:55 to 02:00, two drones hit an educational facility, as a result of which its roof caught fire on an area of ​​​​500 m².

As per tentative reports, 18 houses and five school buses were damaged. Three women were injured, a man was treated for acute stress reaction.

In turn, the State Emergency Service clarified that on the night of March 15, Russian invaders twice attacked rescuers in Bohodukhiv as they were fighting a fire caused by a drone attack.

As noted, the enemy attacked a local lyceum in Bohodukhiv using kamikaze UAVs. An hour later, the invaders targeted emergency respondents, launching a double-tap strike, leaving some of the firefighting equipment damaged. In an hour, the Russians struck again. A fire truck was damaged but no rescuers were injured and the blaze was soon put out.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on March 13, eight civilians, including four children, were injured as a result of Russian drone attacks and shelling in Kharkiv region.
