
Russian forces attacked Nikopol with heavy artillery resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to a child.
Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak reported this on Telegram, as per Ukrinform.
“The Russians shelled Nikopol with heavy artillery killing a 70-year-old woman who died instantly,” the post reads.
The regional chief also added that an 11-year-old girl was injured in the attack. She was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Additionally, the shelling damaged a religious institution, two private homes, and power lines.
Earlier reports indicated that a rocket attack on Kryvyi Rih injured 14 people, including two children.
