Drone attack causes fire at enterprise premises in Kyiv region

A blaze broke out at an industrial enterprise in the Fastiv district, Kyiv region, in the early hours of Sunday as a result of a Russian drone attack.

That’s according to the chief of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, Ukrinform reports.

“Another overnight enemy UAV attack in Kyiv region. The air raid alert went off twice and lasted more than seven hours. Air defense forces were active across the region. Enemy targets were being intercepted. There are no civilian casualties,” Kalashnyk noted.

According to the official, a fire broke out on the premises of an industrial enterprise in the Fastiv district as a result of the attack attack. The blaze has already been put out.

“No damage was allowed to critical and residential infrastructure,” Kalashnyk added.

Emergency response services continue work to eliminate the consequences of the strike.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, overnight Sunday, Ukraine’s Defense Forces shot down 47 Russian drones while 33 enemy UAVs were lost from radar.
