The Minister expressed gratitude to Lieutenant General Barhylevych for his service as Chief of the General Staff.

“In the most difficult times, his experience and professionalism contributed to organizing Ukraine’s defenses. He remains part of the team. Today, his expertise is needed to reform the Main Inspectorate and introduce modern control mechanisms in the Defense Forces, which will allow us to enhance discipline, efficiency, and combat capability of our troops,” Umerov noted.
