The Russian military fired on the village of Zelenivka in Kherson region, killing a 54-year-old woman, the enemy fired about 10 shells at residential areas, and there is destruction.
This was reported on Facebook by the head of the Kherson CMA Roman Mrochko and published a photo of the consequences of the attack, Ukrinform reports.
“Today Zelenivka once again came under enemy fire. Russian terrorists fired about 10 shells at residential areas of the village,” the statement reads.
As noted, power lines and Internet cables were damaged. Later, the CMA reported that, according to the updated data of the starosta of the Zelenivka starosta district, 9 houses were damaged in the village as a result of shelling.
The CMA reported that a 54-year-old local resident who was outside when the shelling of the village began was killed by the shelling.
The RMA confirmed the death of a woman in Zelenivka who came under fire at around 2 p.m.
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, citing investigative data, reports that on March 19, 2025, the Russian military shelled Zelenivka in the Kherson district, with the enemy using artillery. A 54-year-old woman died as a result of the attack. Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation into a war crime that caused the death of a person has been launched.
The CMA also informs that at about 1 p.m., the Russian occupiers attacked the suburb of Kherson – the village of Antonivka – with a drone. A local resident born in 1964 was injured. The man sustained a mine-blast injury and a shrapnel wound to his leg. Police officers took him to a hospital. The victim is currently hospitalized.
As Ukrinform reported, the Russian military shelled Kherson with artillery, there is a dead man, and a 19-year-old boy is also known to be wounded.
