
Russian forces killed one resident of the Donetsk region and injured six others on Wednesday, April 16.
Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, announced this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
He said one person had been killed in Pokrovsk and that six others had sustained injuries.
Filashkin said the total number of Russian-caused casualties in the Donetsk region — 3,144 killed and 6,942 injured – did not include data from Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Earlier reports said that 160 families with 207 children still remained in settlements in the Donetsk region where the mandatory evacuation of children is ongoing.
