
The number of people injured in a Russian missile strike on Kharkiv has risen to 54, with one person killed in the attack.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported the updated figures on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Fifty-four people were injured as a result of this morning’s missile strike on Kharkiv,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported that 13 people — including two children — had been hospitalized.
According to him, four of the injured are in serious condition. Doctors are providing all necessary medical assistance.
The strike hit a densely populated area of Kharkiv. Initial reports indicated a missile had struck a residential high-rise and that 20 people were injured. Later updates said one person was killed in the attack.
