Missile attack on Kharkiv: Injury toll grows to 82, one person killed

A Russian missile strike on Kharkiv has left 74 people injured.

Mayor Ihor Terekhov shared the update on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.








“The number of wounded as a result of the morning shelling of the city has increased to 74,” Terekhov stated.

Later, the State Service for Emergency Situations reported that the number of injured had risen to 82, including six children.

As reported, the attack, which occurred on the morning of April 18, involved three Iskander missiles targeting the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv. One of the missiles detonated mid-air near a residential multi-story building, killing an elderly man and injuring dozens of residents. Four individuals remain in serious condition.
