Ukrainian negotiating team will participate in the upcoming ceasefire talks in London.

Serhii Leshchenko, Adviser to the Head of the Presidential Office reported this during a TV appearance, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

“Our negotiating team will be present. I won’t announce the members. But at the talks held earlier this week in Paris, Head of the Presidential Office Andrii Yermak, the Foreign Minister, and the Defense Minister were present. The composition will be adjusted if necessary, but Ukraine will definitely be at the table,” Leshchenko stated.

Leshchenko emphasized that Ukraine will never be an obstacle on the path to peace, as it is suffering significant losses from the war.

He also commented on reports of the U.S. potentially stepping back from the negotiation process between Ukraine and Russia. According to him, such statements are part of a U.S. tactical approach and do not always indicate definitive actions. He reiterated Ukraine’s view of the U.S. as a key strategic partner since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion.
