In the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Zaporizhzhia region, around 20,000 children have joined Russian youth propaganda movements aimed at erasing Ukrainian identity.
This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
“In the Russian organization Movement of the First, created to shape children’s worldview based on ‘traditional Russian values,’ there are already over 19,000 schoolchildren from the TOT of Zaporizhzhia region. In Yunarmiya, which is overseen by Russia’s ministry of war and prepares personnel for the armed forces and special services, there are over a thousand children,” he wrote.
According to Fedorov, this is how Russia is working to destroy the Ukrainian nation — by influencing Ukrainian children.
The regional head added that the occupiers are trying to reach 100% of children.
As Ukrinform previously reported, in the TOT, under the guise of “anti-extremist lectures,” Ukrainian children are being taught to hate Ukraine.
