
President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine met with Foreign Intelligence Service and Security Service chiefs late Monday, hearing their latest reports.
The head of state reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.
“The head of the SZR reported on the elimination of individuals from the top command of the Russian armed forces. Justice is inevitably served,” the president wrote.
At the same time, the head of the SBU reported on further measures to counter Russian spy networks and saboteurs.
“Good results. I thank you for your work,” Zelensky noted.
He added that efforts are also underway on Ukraine’s next sanctions steps: “Today, I was presented with materials that substantiate the need for appropriate decisions. The relevant submissions to the NSDC are being drafted.”
As reported, on April 25, in the town of Balashikha, Moscow region, Yaroslav Moskalyk, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff, died in a car explosion.
