The detonation of unknown explosive devices was recorded in the Darnytskyi district of the capital.
The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Timur Tkachenko, reported this in a Telegram message.
“About 10 explosions in the forest park area. We also know about an explosion on the roof of a residential building, which partially damaged its roof,” he wrote.
So far, one victim has been reported. The information is being clarified.
According to Tkachenko, sappers, rescuers and medics are working at the scene. Police units are guarding the scene and preventing unauthorized persons from entering.
“Probably, cluster munitions that the Russians scattered from the UAV are exploding, but it can be said for sure after a special examination to determine the origin of these explosive elements,” he wrote.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, an elderly woman was hospitalized in Kyiv after being injured by a delayed explosive part of a drone.
