Several fires broke out in Cherkasy as a result of a Russian drone attack, including one in a dormitory.
This was reported on Telegram by Ihor Taburets, Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, according to Ukrinform.
“Due to the drone attack, multiple fires broke out in the regional center. A dormitory was damaged in particular – one of the apartments caught fire. Windows were shattered,” he wrote.
Preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties.
All emergency services are currently working at the scene, according to the regional governor.
As previously reported, a series of explosions occurred in Cherkasy around midnight.
