
A man was killed and four women were injured as a result of Russian shelling of Kharkiv region yesterday.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
“Over the past day, four settlements and the city of Kupiansk suffered from enemy attacks. A man was killed in Borova village and four women were injured in Kupiansk,” Syniehubov wrote.
According to him, the enemy attacked the area with 11 guided aerial bombs, 18 unguided aerial missiles, 9 Shahed-type UAVs and 8 UAVs of unspecified type.
The shelling in Izium district damaged three administrative buildings, 8 private households, three apartment buildings, a post office, an educational institution, a warehouse building and two cars.
In Kupiansk district, an administrative building, a kindergarten building, two apartment buildings were destroyed, four private houses and two cars were damaged. A private house was damaged in Kharkiv district.
Syniehubov added that 253 combat engagements were registered in the last day. In the Kharkiv sector, five combat engagements took place in the area of Vovchansk. Six occupants’ attacks were registered in the Kupiansk sector. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Zahryzove and in the directions of Novoozynove and Hlushkivka.
As Ukrinform reported, the building of the State Tax Inspectorate was damaged in Kupiansk district of Kharkiv region as a result of a Russian attack.
