The death toll from a Russian missile strike on the outskirts of Sumy has risen to three.
According to Ukrinform, Sumy’s acting mayor and city council secretary, Artem Kobzar, reported the updated figures on Telegram.

“According to the latest information, we are facing tragic consequences—three people have died: a girl at the scene, while a man and a boy died from their injuries in the hospital,” he stated.
Earlier, Kobzar had reported one fatality and seven wounded, six of whom were children. The deceased was identified as a 21-year-old woman.
The State Emergency Service later confirmed on Facebook that, as of 19:45 on Tuesday, the number of injured had risen to 11, including five children.



As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian military struck civilian infrastructure in the suburbs of Sumy at approximately 17:30 on Tuesday. The attack is believed to have been carried out using a ballistic missile.
Initial reports indicated one child had been killed and six others wounded.
