“The mobile reusable deminer “Zmiy” v1.2 was created by Rovertech, a member of Brave1. Its main task is combat demining. It defuses explosives in mined areas of the frontline and clears the way for infantry and equipment. The robot also participates in humanitarian demining in Kharkiv, Kherson and Mykolaiv regions,” the statement said.

According to Fedorov, the robotic system can withstand the detonation of two anti-tank mines. At the same time, it is 40 times cheaper to use than traditional demining. For maximum accuracy, it works in conjunction with a drone.

The robot is effective in difficult terrain, dense vegetation and forests. It clears up to 2.5 hectares of area daily, consuming only six liters per 1.2 hours of work.

As reported, over the past two years, members of the Brave1 defense tech cluster have received more than 500 grants totaling more than UAH 2.2 billion to improve and develop their innovations.
