Defense Ministry denies information about terrorist attack in Kharkiv

The information that the car of one of the leading Ukrainian engineers who worked on the development of drones was blown up in Kharkiv is not true.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“The information disseminated in Telegram channels with reference to the alleged statement of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine regarding the terrorist attack in Kharkiv is fake,” the statement said.

The ministry’s press service emphasized that the defense minister had not made such statements.

At the same time, they noted that Umerov has no official Telegram accounts.

“As part of a full-scale war, Russia is actively using fakes as an element of information warfare,” the ministry emphasized.

The Ministry of Defense calls for information hygiene and checking sources before disseminating any messages.
