Changes in weather conditions are affecting the enemy’s assault tactics in the Chasiv Yar area and in the direction of Kostiantynivka.

This was reported during a television broadcast by Dmytro Zaporozhets, Spokesperson for the Luhansk Operational Tactical Group of Troops, according to Ukrinform.

“Foliage has appeared, and the enemy is trying to use it during assault operations, moving from one wooded area to another. There’s also been a decrease in nighttime movements and an increase in morning assaults. They typically operate in small infantry groups of up to four people, attempting to move, regroup, and conduct assaults toward Ukraine’s Defense Forces positions,” said Zaporozhets.

He also suggested that the enemy is awaiting operational or tactical success on the Toretsk axis before advancing toward Kostiantynivka.

“According to intelligence, they are attempting to regroup in the area of Novyi district of Chasiv Yar, as well as in the settlement of Ivanivske, likely in preparation for further assaults toward Chasiv Yar. But clearly, they are waiting for some kind of operational or tactical breakthrough in the Toretsk sector to support future assaults toward Kostiantynivka,” Zaporozhets noted.
