Injury toll in Russian missile strike at Sumy rises to nine, two civilians killed

The number of people injured in the Russian missile strike in the city of Sumy has risen to nine, with two of them in critical condition.

That is according to an updated report by the press service of the Sumy City Council on Facebook, as cited by Ukrinform.

“As a result of the Russian attack at an industrial facility, two people were killed and nine injured, two of whom are in serious condition,” the statement reads.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, the missile strike occurred around 14:45, May 14, targeting an industrial site in Sumy. Initial reports confirmed two fatalities and six injuries.
