On the night of May 21, drones attacked defense industry enterprises in Russia, including facilities in the Oryol region.
Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, wrote this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
“Unknown drones struck Russian military-industrial complex enterprises overnight, specifically in the Oryol region,” Kovalenko wrote.
Meanwhile, Russian forces continued attacks on the Sumy and Kyiv regions.
Earlier, Ukrinform reported that on May 7, a strike severely damaged a fiber-optic systems plant in Russia’s Saransk, Russia, according to the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation.
