Ukrainian Defense Industry JSC (UDI) is interested in establishing partnership with Dutch weapons producers.
The relevant statement was made by Ukroboronprom’s press service, following a meeting between UDI’s team and Commissioner for Military Production at the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Netherlands Jan Christiaan Dicke, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Dutch companies have extensive expertise and advanced solutions in maritime and aviation systems and critical infrastructure protection. They are also interested in cooperation in the field of unmanned systems.
“We are actively seeking and finding new opportunities for international cooperation. Therefore, Ukroboronprom has agreed on a direct meeting of specialists from its enterprises with the representatives of Dutch arms businesses, which will take place in the near future. There will be an opportunity to discuss practical aspects of cooperation in areas of interest to both parties,” Ukrainian Defense Industry JSC Director General Oleh Huliak noted.
A reminder that one of enterprises, which are part of Ukrainian Defense Industry JSC (UDI), signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with KNDS Belgium SA, known as a supplier of NATO. According to the document, the parties are planning to organize a joint procurement of medium-caliber rounds. Such ammunition is used to fire from automatic guns and defeat manpower, light armored vehicles, and low-flying aerial targets.
