The Ukrainian Defense Ministry has codified and approved several models of domestically produced specialized boats for use by the Armed Forces.

This was announced by the Main Directorate for Support of the Life Cycle of Weapons and Military Equipment, Ukrinform reports, citing the ministry’s press service.

“The boats are capable of performing a wide range of tasks in open sea conditions, as well as in river deltas, large lakes, and more. Their design makes them suitable for use in hard-to-reach areas — such as wetlands, rocky, or silted waters,” the statement reads.

The vessels feature high stability in moderate waves, substantial cargo capacity, and shallow draft. Depending on mission requirements, they can be equipped with a bow turret, electronic warfare systems, echo sounders, mounts, mobile soft fuel tanks, and other specialized gear tailored for modern combat.

The boats have already been tested in real-world conditions.
