Ukrainian forces neutralize 112 Russian UAVs

The Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully shot down 74 Russian drones, while 38 enemy UAVs vanished from radar.

The Ukrainian Air Force provided this update on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Since 00:00, May 22, Russian invaders fired an Iskander-M ballistic missile at Ukraine from the Taganrog area and 128 Shahed attack drones and other types of decoy drones from their cities of Millerovo, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as Cape Chauda in temporarily occupied Crimea.

Ukraine’s aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare teams, and mobile fire groups effectively repelled the attacks.

As of 11:00 on Thursday, air defense units across the eastern, northern, southern, and central regions successfully shot down 74 drones, while another 38 vanished from radar or were suppressed by electronic warfare without causing any negative consequences.

The Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions were affected by the attack.

As Ukrinform reported, on the night of May 22, Russians attacked the city of Sloviansk, Donetsk region, with a Geran-2 drone, causing damage.
