
In the village of Pechenyhy, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region, Russian troops destroyed a production facility and a road repair and maintenance company with Shahed in the morning of May 23.
This was reported to an Ukrinform correspondent by the head of the Pechenihy village military administration, Oleksandr Husarov.
“At four in the morning, the Shahed attacked our enterprises. The business card of our community is Finprofile, a foreign-invested enterprise that has been operating throughout the war, producing exclusively civilian products, namely equipment for the manufacture of metal profiles. It was completely destroyed. One person was injured, a security guard, but he is alive, and an ambulance provided him with help. The company was a city-forming enterprise, it meant taxes and jobs,” Husarov said.
A road repair and maintenance company was also hit, with buildings and equipment destroyed.
According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, preliminary data indicate that the enemy used a Geranium-2 UAV. A 66-year-old man was injured and suffered from acute shock.
Pre-trial investigations into war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code) have been initiated.
As reported, in March, in the village of Pechenihy, Chuhuiv district, Kharkiv region, a Russian drone attack destroyed the Semyradsky Support Lyceum and the Alley of Glory and Memory of the Defenders of Ukraine – residents of the Pechenihy community. An administrative building, several trade pavilions were also destroyed, and apartment buildings and private homes were damaged.
