
Three children were killed and 12 people injured in a Russian attack in Zhytomyr region.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), according to Ukrinform.
“Zhytomyr region: as a result of an enemy attack, three children were killed and 12 people injured. The children were 8, 12, and 17 years old. Rescuers recovered the body of one of them,” the statement reads.
Private houses were destroyed and damaged.
In Berdychiv district specifically, two people were injured, including one child. A five-story apartment building, private houses, and utility structures were damaged.
Emergency services, Red Cross volunteers, and psychologists were working at the scene to assist people.
A total of 45 rescuers and 10 units of equipment were deployed.
According to earlier reports, the death toll from a Russian attack in Kyiv region has risen to four, with 16 civilians injured.
