Military aid from partners in 2025 will exceed the levels of all previous years of a full-scale invasion.
This was emphasized by the Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.
“The 28th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (“Ramstein” format) has once again confirmed: our partners remain reliable and resolute in supporting Ukraine. We have achieved significant results — in 2025, security assistance will surpass the levels of all previous years of the full-scale war,” Umerov noted.
The Minister of Defense recalled that following the meeting, partners announced new assistance packages and important steps to support Ukraine.

For example, the UK has announced a record aid package for the supply of drones, worth GBP 350 million, to provide 100,000 drones to Ukraine in 2025. In total, British military support in 2025 amounts to GBP 4.5 billion, of which GBP 247 million will be allocated for military training.
Germany has backed a new military aid package worth EUR 5 billion. The Bundestag has already approved the move.
According to Umerov, the package includes financing for long-range weapons that will be produced in Ukraine, the transfer of air defense systems, weapons, and ammunition.
The Netherlands is providing an aid package worth EUR 400 million, including a minesweeper, boats, and naval drones.
Belgium announced a long-term initiative involving an annual aid to Ukraine in the amount of EUR 1 billion until 2029, as well as a transfer of a minesweeper.
Norway is giving $700 million for drones, with a focus on supporting the Ukrainian defense industry, and $50 million to the NSATU Trust Fund.
Canada provides $45 million for drones, electronic warfare, IT solutions, as well as the Coyote and Bison armored vehicles.
Sweden disburses EUR 440 million for international programs involving the purchase of artillery munitions, drones, and other weapons for Ukraine.
Umerov thanked all countries continuing to support Ukraine.
The Minister of Defense also expressed gratitude to his counterparts: ” Many thanks to my very good friends, Minister Healey and Minister Pistorius, for organizing this meeting.”
“Peace in Ukraine must be just, lasting, and protected by international unity. Together, we are working toward achieving this. Our unity brings a just peace closer!” Umerov concluded.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, referring to Minister Umerov, military support from the United Kingdom in the amount of GBP 4.5 billion this year marks unprecedented assistance that saves lives and strengthens the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
