
The number of people injured in a massive overnight enemy attack on Kharkiv has risen to 17, according to local officials.
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“As of now, the number of injured in Kharkiv has reached 13, including two children. Sadly, one person has died,” he stated at 05:59.
Later, at 06:19, he added: “One more person requires medical assistance. The number of those injured has now reached 14.”
“There is information about another fatality in the Kyivskyi district. In total, two people have been killed and 17 Kharkiv residents injured due to the terrorist shelling of the city,” Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov wrote on Telegram at 06:38.
A series of explosions rocked Kharkiv during an air raid alert. The enemy strikes targeted a civilian enterprise and a residential building, causing fires.
