
A Russian airstrike on the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv on June 7 has left one person dead and at least five injured, according to local officials.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported on Telegram that two guided aerial bombs struck the district.
“There are injured as a result of two glide bomb strikes on the Shevchenkivskyi district,” he wrote.
Shortly after, Terekhov reported a fatality.
“One person has died following the strike in the city center. Several others were wounded,” he said.
As of 18:00, Kharkiv Regional Governor Oleh Syniehubov stated that five people had been injured in the attack.
“Five individuals sustained injuries as a result of enemy strikes. Medical teams are providing all necessary assistance,” he wrote on Telegram.
The airstrike occurred at around 17:30.
