Ukrainian air defense forces neutralized 30 out of 58 drones launched by Russian invaders in an overnight attack on Ukraine.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.

Starting from 23:00 on Tuesday, June 17, Russia launched 58 attack UAVs — Shahed-type drones and decoy drones of various types — from the directions of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Chauda (in temporarily occupied Crimea).
The main targets of the drone strikes were Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
The aerial attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare (EW) units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
As of 8:30 on Wednesday, June 18, air defense had neutralized 30 drones in the eastern and northern regions of Ukraine. Of those, 12 were shot down by firepower, and 18 were suppressed or lost through electronic warfare.
Drone impacts were recorded in nine locations.
As reported by Ukrinform, overnight on June 18, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones, causing fires in the city.
