Over 200 sites damaged in Kyiv following massive Russian attack

As of Wednesday, June 18, a total of 207 damaged sites have been registered in Kyiv as a result of the massive Russian attack on June 17, with 106 of them located in the Solomianskyi district.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration, citing Deputy Head Viacheslav Nepop.

Nepop stated that residents of Solomianskyi district whose property was damaged in the June 17 attack have submitted 95 claims to the Register of Damaged and Destroyed Property seeking compensation through the government’s eRecovery (eVidnovlennia) program.

He noted that the government provides up to UAH 350,000 (approx. $8,500) for damaged apartments and up to UAH 500,000 (approx. $12,000) for damaged private homes. These funds can be used to purchase construction materials or order repair services.

As of June 18, 106 damaged sites have been registered in Solomianskyi district, and 207 across all of Kyiv.

Nepop also reported that financial aid can be obtained from the city budget: UAH 40,000 in one-time assistance for those requiring urgent temporary relocation due to damaged or destroyed housing; monthly assistance of UAH 20,000 (for up to 12 months) for those temporarily displaced; additional UAH 10,000 under the municipal Care: Support for Kyivans program.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, 27 deaths have been confirmed in Kyiv as of 16:00 on Wednesday, June 18, as a result of the Russian combined attack on June 17.
