
In the Kherson region, Russians attempted to storm Ukrainian positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River 11 times last week.
This was reported at a briefing by Senior Lieutenant Pavlo Drohal, spokesman for the 30th Marine Corps, according to Ukrinform.
“The enemy continues to try to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions on the left bank of the Dnipro River,” the report said.
As noted, last week the occupiers attempted to storm Ukrainian positions 11 times. All these attempts were repelled. In total, during the specified period, Russian troops lost 73 invaders killed and wounded. The enemy’s losses in weapons and military equipment amounted to 74 units.
He added that Russian troops have significantly increased the use of UAVs in the Kherson region.
“In total, between June 16 and 22, 2025, Russian occupation forces carried out 422 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders and civilian infrastructure. In addition, the invaders carried out four air strikes and two missile strikes,” Drohal said.
According to him, Russian troops have significantly increased the use of various types and modifications of UAVs. A total of 2,162 UAV (FPV) deployments were recorded in one week, 1,040 of which were within the Kherson territorial community. With the help of electronic warfare systems, 1,689 UAVs (FPV) were destroyed or suppressed, 816 of them within the Kherson territorial community.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops launched nearly 2,200 drones in the Kherson region over the course of a week. The Ukrainian military managed to destroy about 1,700 enemy drones, or 78% of the total number.
