Ukraine is capable of sharing its experience in modern warfare with other nations, according to the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (DIU).
As reported by Ukrinform, this was announced via the DIU’s official Facebook page.
Ukrainian experience in warfare — its scaling and dissemination — is an element of developing international partnerships and deterring the Russian threat, emphasized Major General Vadym Skibitskyi, Deputy Chief of Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence, during a speech at the first official offline event of the Snake Island Institute.
The Snake Island Institute is a think tank established to support Ukraine’s defense capabilities, foster strategic cooperation with the United States and key allies, and introduce innovative approaches to modern warfare.
Skibitskyi reminded the audience that Moscow has already launched a program aimed at preparing Russia’s armed forces for a direct military confrontation with NATO by 2030.
In the context of growing tensions on the continent, Ukraine’s combat experience may prove crucial in countering and deterring Russian aggression.
“The experience we currently have — in modern conflict, in the use of new technologies, in deploying new types of weaponry, in applying new methods and tactics — is invaluable today,” said Skibitskyi.
In his view, integrating veterans of the Russo-Ukrainian war into the civil-military sector is a key component of developing strategic partnerships. This includes areas such as military analytics and consulting, as well as defense technology.
As an example, he cited the recent hot phase of the Iran–Israel conflict, during which the Israeli side adopted Ukrainian approaches to countering kamikaze drones — particularly the use of helicopters.
DIU emphasized that scaling and sharing Ukraine’s experience in modern warfare is the contribution the country can offer to deepen international cooperation.
As Ukrinform previously reported, on June 22, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, carried out an operation to evacuate 176 people from the State of Israel, including 133 Ukrainian citizens.
