The drones launched by the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry attacked rocket fuel storage facilities in Russia’s Bryansk region.
That’s according to a source in Ukraine’s defense intelligence, Ukrinform reports.
“On the evening of June 26, attack UAVs operated by the Main Intelligence Directorate hit rocket fuel and diesel storage facilities at supply center 1061 of the Russian armed forces in Bryansk,” the source said.
According to the source, at first, local witnesses first rushed across social media to report incoming drones before residents of Bryansk confirmed explosions and a fire raging in one of the districts.
“Some of the locals did not even care to conceal the exact location and target: ‘There were four explosions – the fuel depot is on fire,” the local residents wrote,” the GUR noted.
The source informed that the explosions and fire at the military facility in Bryansk were caused by Ukraine’s “good drones” such as Bober, Baklan, and “Obriy”.
“The attack on the rocket fuel and diesel depot in Bryansk is part of a wider effort to reduce the logistical capabilities of the Russian occupation army,” the source said.
As reported, soldiers from the GUR special operations unit attacked Russian air defense systems deployed in occupied Crimea.
